What You'll Do

As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will:

• Greet and assist customers
• Respond to incoming customer inquiries
• Ask questions to understand each customer's needs and budget
• Help customers select the right new or pre-owned vehicle
• Explain vehicle features and technology
• Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives
• Respond to internet and phone leads
• Schedule and confirm customer appointments
• Follow up consistently with prospective customers
• Build relationships with previous customers and generate referrals
• Maintain accurate customer information and follow-up activity
• Work with management throughout the vehicle purchasing process
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience before, during, and after the sale
• Continue developing your product knowledge and sales ability

Farris generates more than 1,000 incoming customer leads every month through internet inquiries, phone calls, marketing, social media, repeat customers, and referrals.

Your job is to respond quickly, build trust, understand what the customer needs, help identify the right vehicle, follow up consistently, and provide an experience that makes the customer want to do business with you.
