Medical Receptionist I

Lawall Prosthetic & Orthotic Services is seeking a friendly, organized and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with patients, providing excellent customer service, and supporting a busy medical office environment. Responsibilities include: Greet and assist patients in a professional and welcoming manner Check patients in and out (copay collections support) Answer and direct incoming telephone calls Schedule appointments and assist with patient inquiries Maintain accurate patient information and documentation Assist with insurance and patient-related administrative tasks Coordinate with clinicians, physician offices, insurance companies, and internal staff Perform data entry and general office duties Support the team in providing timely and exceptional patient service General clerical duties include but not limited to; scanning charts into the EMR system, follow up calls to patients, use of email, phone, computers Limited travel to nearest locations for support Qualifications: Previous receptionist, medical office experience preferred High level of organization, reliability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced office setting.
