Surveillance Officer

Overview This is an active, team-based security role focused on maintaining the safety and security of a data center environment. Rather than monitoring from a fixed post, you’ll engage directly with staff, contractors, and visitors to prevent risks and respond to emergencies. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols to safeguard company personnel, assets, and property. Act as a first responder to emergencies and potential threats. Provide support and direction to employees and visitors while upholding safety protocols. Follow standard procedures to reduce risks and ensure a secure working environment. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of experience in a security role or completion of a formal security training/certification (e.g., Guard Card). Alternatively, 4+ years of related professional experience. Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently and respond effectively under pressure.
