About the Role As our Social Media Community Manager, you will be a multi‑tasker who loves writing, creativity, fun, fostering community, and above all else, social media. Own the goodr tone across all social platforms—Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and beyond—responding to every comment, DM, and inquiry with empathy, wit, and personality. Build and engage our community daily through authentic, memorable interactions that make people feel seen and part of something bigger. Lead social listening by tracking conversations and untagged mentions to spot cultural moments; analyze opportunities for trending discussions in real time. Collaborate with the social team to translate insights into viral moments and shareable engagement that fuels brand growth. Inspire user‑generated content by engaging fans creatively and encouraging them to share their love of the brand. Partner with marketing and customer service teams to delight our biggest fans and amplify the best of the goodr community. Track engagement, sentiment, and growth metrics; turn community feedback into actionable strategies. Build the foundation for a scalable, best‑in‑class community management program that keeps fans excited, connected, and returning. Collaborate cross‑functionally with creative, brand, and influencer teams to support content, campaigns, and partnerships. Stay plugged in to emerging social trends, new platforms, and community‐building best practices to keep goodr at the forefront of digital culture. Report directly to the Social Media Manager. Perform other related duties as assigned. Ideal Candidate May or may not have a degree; we don’t require one (bonus points for creative or scientific backgrounds). Has 2+ years of professional experience managing social media for a brand. Is a social listening wizard who can set up topics, track untagged mentions, and identify key conversation holes. Possesses strong, brand‑aligned communication skills and a customer‑first mindset. Remains calm and collected during crisis and reputation management. Demonstrates a strategic understanding of how a thriving community drives brand love and growth. Has working knowledge of social analytics platforms such as Sprout or Dash Social. Ideally has a knack for content creation and ideation, regularly producing viral ideas. Earns extra credit for experience with influencer or creator partnerships. Understands paid social and how it can enhance community moments. Bonus points for building a successful ambassador program or community campaign. Displays solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking. Is a self‑starter who prioritizes efficiently and coordinates across departments. Shows willingness to take initiative, collaborate, and act with urgency. Asks a lot of questions and thrives on learning. Loves the work more than the paycheck and finds planning and organizing fun.
