Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for this U.S. J-1 Culinary Internship Program, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum age: 18
• Currently enrolled full-time in a post-secondary Culinary Arts diploma or degree program recognized by your local government
• OR
• Have graduated from a full-time post-secondary Culinary Arts diploma or degree program within the last 12 months

In addition, candidates must:

• Have at least 36 months of practical kitchen experience
• Demonstrate good English communication skills
• Show professionalism, maturity, and willingness to learn
• Have clear long-term career goals within the culinary industry
• Be genuinely interested in developing their skills through structured international training in the United States
