Essential Responsibilities:

• Fiscal Responsibility: Efficiently manage supplies and equipment, complete assignments promptly, and adhere to timekeeping protocols. Embrace productivity goals, including float and extended day off assignments, while supporting unit objectives to reduce waste.
• Quality: Maintain accurate documentation per unit standards, stay current with policy updates, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and multitasking skills within your scope. Offer constructive suggestions to enhance unit workflow and patient experience, and accept delegated tasks appropriately while fostering teamwork.
• Patient Satisfaction: Promote exceptional patient experiences through timely responses, professional conduct, purposeful rounding, and respectful use of personal electronic devices. Exemplify excellent guest relations with patients, families, and visitors.
• Patient Safety: Practice safe patient mobilization, implement fall prevention strategies, use two patient identifiers consistently, and report unusual occurrences via the event management system. Adapt care routines to meet individual patient needs and strictly adhere to HIPAA and social media policies.
• Professional Growth: Share knowledge with colleagues, participate in orientation and cross-training, demonstrate leadership, serve as a resource and preceptor, and engage in departmental goal development and educational opportunities.
• Customer Service: Engage patients and families with professionalism, maintain a quiet and flexible environment, practice AIDET communication techniques, and foster positive interdepartmental relationships. Provide holistic care to diverse patient populations.

Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic BLS certification required within three months of hire
