Scheduler

The Office of Congresswoman Grace Meng is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented team-player to serve as Scheduler in a fast-paced Capitol Hill office. Daily responsibilities include maintaining the Member’s schedule; managing logistics; booking travel; interfacing with constituent groups; organizing event invitations and meeting requests; providing operational support, and other duties as needed. This position works in close cooperation with the Member of Congress and both DC and District staff to ensure prompt and timely communication. Successful candidates will be confident in organizing a high volume of requests, balancing multiple priorities and competing interests, and communicating proactively to colleagues. Successful candidates will be problem solvers who think on their feet, quickly process information, maintain calm under pressure, and don’t take themselves too seriously. Scheduler will drive the Member in DC on voting days and must have a vehicle and clean driving record. Candidates must be available to sometimes respond to time sensitive matters outside of regular business hours. This is not an entry-level position. Previous scheduling and/or operations experience is preferred. This position reports directly to the Chief of Staff. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
