As the first and last point of contact for our clients, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional experience for pets and their families while supporting our veterinarians and medical team.SchedulePart-Time PositionEvery other Saturday is requiredAdditional weekday shifts based on hospital needsJob SummaryThe Client Service Representative is responsible for managing client communications, scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate patient records, processing payments, and ensuring a positive client experience from check-in to check-out.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Communication & SchedulingAnswer incoming calls and emails professionally and efficientlySchedule appointments and assist with forward bookingSend appointment reminders and follow-up communicationsContact clients regarding overdue services and wellness careClient ServiceGreet clients and patients in a friendly, welcoming mannerGather and document patient information accuratelyProvide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism during difficult situationsEducate clients on hospital services, wellness plans, and preventive care recommendationsAdministrative DutiesMaintain accurate client and patient recordsProcess payments, financing applications, and pet insurance claimsPrepare estimates and review invoices with clientsSupport daily front desk operations and maintain an organized reception areaTeam SupportCommunicate effectively with doctors and veterinary staffProvide discharge instructions and schedule follow-up appointmentsAssist with additional administrative duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious customer service experience preferredVeterinary or healthcare experience preferredStrong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and remain efficient in a fast-paced environmentComfortable using computer software, scheduling systems, and other technology platformsAbility to work collaboratively with clients, doctors, and team membersCommitment to providing exceptional client service and patient carePhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 40 pounds independentlyAbility to work in a fast-paced veterinary environmentAbout AmeriVetAt AmeriVet, we believe thriving teams build thriving communities.
