What we’re looking for in you Comfort making cold calls over the phone and in person. Ability to make oral presentations and clearly articulate policies and procedures. Education & experience Current and valid driver’s license required. College degree preferred. Previous outdoor advertising sales experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. CRM experience preferred. A day in the life Meet and exceed sales targets and monitor personal sales data and reports. Target businesses in the assigned area and visit both existing Lamar clients and competitor clients. Maintain knowledge of local and national competition. Cluster accounts to work them efficiently. Identify growth opportunities and open new accounts. Use Lamar computer tools to locate prospects, follow up on leads, and prepare proposals, written presentations, and research. Develop presentation skills using computer tools and present to clients regularly. Develop new product knowledge and selling skills. Participate actively in sales meetings, regional meetings, seminars, and trade shows. Perform administrative duties, including: Maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans a month in advance. Following up on all client production orders and problem‑solving any issues that arise. Keeping organized and up‑to‑date records of clients and sales activity. Physical demands and work environment Combination of office environment and field work: sales calls and servicing existing accounts. Light lifting, visual acuity, sitting less than 50% of time, standing, talking, turning, walking. Night travel less than 10% of time. Benefits & Compensation Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with paid holidays and paid time in-office and in-field. First‑year earning potential $60,000 – $100,000, including commissions, based on experience and performance. No commission cap; earning potential unlimited as you grow your book of business. Monthly auto and cell allowances for work‑related expenses.
