AI Enablement / Go-to-Market Lead

Reports to: CIO

Compensation: $200,000 - $225,000 base + bonus


Overview


We are seeking an AI Enablement / Go-to-Market Engineer to accelerate enterprise AI adoption across the organization. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the CIO and backed by strong investment and strategic priority from the company's private equity ownership .


This individual will act as an internal AI catalyst , identifying business pain points, designing and building AI-driven solutions, and helping business teams operationalize AI capabilities. The role blends AI architecture, hands-on prototyping, and strategic stakeholder engagement .


The organization is already actively leveraging tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot and is open to implementing additional technologies (e.g., Claude or other emerging AI platforms) as needed.


Role Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Enablement

• Partner with business leaders to identify operational pain points and opportunities for AI-driven improvements .
• Translate business needs into practical AI solutions, workflows, and automation strategies .
• Drive AI adoption by enabling teams to integrate AI into daily operations and decision-making .

Solution Design & Prototyping

• Design and build AI agents, proofs-of-concept (POCs), and prototype applications to validate opportunities quickly.
• Architect scalable AI solutions leveraging modern LLM ecosystems and enterprise tools.
• Evaluate and implement emerging AI technologies across platforms such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, and other relevant tools .

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams , mobilizing cross-functional resources to implement AI solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to executives and business teams through visual, strategic presentations and demonstrations .

This role will sequentially enable AI capabilities across key business functions:

1. Finance
2. Operations
3. Sales
4. Marketing

The AI Enablement Lead will focus deeply on one department at a time, implementing solutions, demonstrating value, and then scaling capabilities across the organization.


Team Building & Scaling

• As the AI program matures, the role will expand into a department-level leadership position .
• Responsible for building and managing a team of 3+ direct reports to scale AI initiatives across the enterprise.

Organizational Structure

• Reports directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) .
• Operates with significant autonomy and ownership .
• CIO serves as a strategic collaborator rather than a day-to-day manager.
• Initiative is fully funded and prioritized by the company's private equity investors .

Required Experience

Technical Expertise

• Deep knowledge of AI architecture, LLM ecosystems, and modern AI development frameworks .
• Experience building AI agents, automation workflows, and proof-of-concept solutions .
• Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms and tools such as:

• Prior people management experience or demonstrated ability to build and scale teams.
