Speech-Language Pathologist

This 36-week position provides speech-language therapy services in a school setting in Portland, OR, offering competitive pay and benefits while making a meaningful impact on students' communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students, assessing and diagnosing communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and caregivers to support student progress and ensure effective communication strategies.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of clinical assessments, intervention plans, and progress notes.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities as required to support student success.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ESA certification.
• ASHA CCC or CFY certification.
• At least one year of experience working with pediatric populations in an educational setting.
• Experience developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible and adaptive to school schedules and caseloads.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous school-based therapy experience preferred.
