Lead Warehouse Associate

PrideStaff is looking for a Lead Warehouse Associate for a company in Madera!

Responsibilities include overseeing daily shipping and receiving, coordinating order picking, ensuring cold-chain storage compliance, and managing sanitation standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory & Quality Control: Monitor produce inventory, perform routine cycle counts, and ensure perishable goods are stored at correct temperatures.
• Team Leadership: Delegate daily tasks to warehouse associates, train new staff, and assist the Operations Manager with shift scheduling.
• Shipping & Receiving: Oversee the loading/unloading of trucks, verify shipping manifests, and ensure orders are accurately picked and packed.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA safety guidelines and facility sanitation standards (especially for food and agricultural products).
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move heavy loads.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 1-3 years of prior warehouse or production experience, ideally in an agricultural or food-grade environment.
• Licensing: Valid forklift certification or the ability to pass certification shortly after hiring.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, basic math skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
