Calculate the net present value of lost future earnings in wrongful death and personal injury cases.
Analyze projected military and civilian career earnings, earning capacity, and potential future financial losses.
Calculate personal consumption adjustments and residual earning capacity where applicable.
Evaluate disability-related economic impacts using relevant Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) disability rating methodologies.

Perform government benefit offset calculations in accordance with applicable federal regulations.
Review claimant-submitted economic and actuarial reports to assess the validity of methodologies, assumptions, and calculations.
Prepare written rebuttal reports identifying errors, unsupported assumptions, inconsistencies, and methodological weaknesses.
Build, maintain, and document detailed Microsoft Excel models supporting calculations, assumptions, and conclusions.
Respond to follow-up questions and provide clear explanations of findings to government attorneys and legal staff.
Ensure all analyses and deliverables comply with professional actuarial standards and applicable federal requirements.
Protect confidential claimant information, legal strategies, and sensitive personal and health information in accordance with security and nondisclosure requirements.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced actuary or forensic economist with a strong background in economic loss analysis, financial modeling, and the preparation of reports for legal or regulatory proceedings. They should demonstrate exceptional analytical rigor, professional writing skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines.
