Computational Biologist for AI Training
$90 - $120 per hourSaidGig
Role Overview
Apply advanced computational biology and medicinal chemistry expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality scientific analysis, evaluation, and feedback. This remote contract role focuses on ensuring AI models learn from accurate, relevant, real-world scientific input. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and annotate complex biological datasets, with an emphasis on medicinal chemistry applications.
- Provide domain-specific feedback and insights to improve AI models used in computational biology contexts.
- Evaluate scientific content for accuracy, relevance, and clarity in line with industry standards.
- Develop and review problem sets, case studies, and scenarios based on real-world medicinal chemistry challenges.
- Collaborate asynchronously with other subject-matter experts to validate findings and share perspectives on deliverables.
- Help refine data-curation methods and best practices for computational biology work.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree, PhD, PharmD, or MSc, in computational biology, medicinal chemistry, bioinformatics, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated medicinal chemistry expertise, including experience in drug discovery or design.
- Strong analytical ability and deep familiarity with biological datasets and scientific literature.
- Experience using computational methods to solve chemistry or biology problems.
- Proficiency with relevant bioinformatics tools, cheminformatics platforms, or data-analysis software.
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex scientific concepts to varied audiences.
- Experience with cross-disciplinary or AI-driven scientific projects is a plus.
