You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.54 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense business location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor access to the facility, verify authorization in accordance with site requirements, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures. Support protection of sensitive business operations and information by reporting policy violations, damaged property, access-control concerns, and suspicious activity. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of corrections, military, law enforcement experience. Possess a CPO certification. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
