Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough interviews and assessments with clients and their families to identify emotional, psychological, and socioeconomic factors influencing their health care engagement.

• Research community resources such as healthcare services, financial assistance, and child welfare programs to better advocate for clients.

• Regularly monitor and follow up on client progress, adjusting treatment plans when necessary to promote their mental health and overall well-being.

• Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with Department of Mental Health guidelines and protocols.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license must be in place.

• Demonstrated experience and comfort in working with Veterans, which is strongly encouraged.

• Knowledge of Department of Mental Health billing and paperwork requirements is essential.

• Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to counsel and advise clients effectively.
