Complete preventive maintenance (PM) services and general HVAC maintenance. Diagnose and repair a variety of commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, water-source heat pumps, and other equipment. Service customers across retail, bakeries, cafés, office parks, laboratories, and other commercial facilities. Respond to service calls and efficiently diagnose and resolve equipment issues in the field. Work independently on routine service calls and collaborate with an apprentice or helper on larger projects as needed. Communicate with customers regarding equipment conditions, repairs, and recommended maintenance. Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and equipment conditions. Obtain necessary parts and supplies through established company supplier accounts. Safely operate and maintain the company-provided service vehicle. Follow all company safety procedures and applicable HVAC, EPA, and regulatory requirements. Participate in the rotating on-call schedule, generally approximately one week per month. Maintain required EPA certification and pursue additional licenses and certifications for career advancement. Work closely with company ownership and experienced technicians to develop technical skills and knowledge. Maintain professional relationships with customers, coworkers, vendors, and company leadership.
