Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer specializing in Pediatrics, with required experience in complex congenital cases and both adult and pediatric populations.

Details

• Both inpatient and outpatient work setting in a pediatric cardiac sonography unit
• Adult and pediatric patient population, including complex congenital cases
• 4x10 hour day shifts, with hours of either 6:30 AM–5:00 PM or 8:30 AM–7:00 PM
• Rotating weekends once a month (Saturday and Sunday)
• Potential on-call shifts from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of echo/cardiac sonography experience
• RDCS (AE) certification required; ARDMS (PE) certification required
• Current BLS required
• Experience with both adult and pediatric patients required
• Experience with pediatric complex congenital cases required
• CA license required if applicable
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• Former employees or travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
