Human Resources Manager – Highland Heights, OH

Join Stanley Black & Decker’s global team of over 43,000 professionals as a Human Resources Manager at our Highland Heights manufacturing site. In this role you will partner with manufacturing leadership, support approx.150 employees, and drive key HR initiatives that align strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Highland Heights Manufacturing Leadership team as an on‑site employee.
• Lead organization of HR initiatives for approx.150 employees.
• Strategize organizational development, talent management, labor relations, training & development, performance management, and other HR special projects.
• Report to the Sr. Director of Human Resources and design, execute, and continuously improve people initiatives and tactical processes.
• Serve as a business partner, trusted advisor, and activator across talent management, organizational design, matrix partnership, and development needs.
• Plan and execute corporate initiatives, programs, and projects, communicating effectively with all functional organizations.
• Act as a change agent, preparing employees for ongoing change and improving organizational efficiency.
• Lead strategy and implementation for process and HR data improvement initiatives, using HR data to standardize and automate solutions.
• Lead organizational design efforts that promote efficiency and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources. Advanced degree or SHRM certification is a plus.
• 7+ years of HR experience with a strong focus on business partnering, coaching, progressive org development, employee relations, and operational HR excellence.
• Experience working with a union is a plus.
• Demonstrated flexibility, agility, and resilience to thrive amid change and competing priorities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills.
• ‘Grit to win’ mentality and a passion for continuous improvement.

Salary

USD$95,600.00 – $153,900.00 (annual, full‑time)
