The Manager deploys HR processes, policies, and practices that align with the goals of the business as well as the performance management process, while achieving employment alignment and engagement. They function as a change agent, reviewing and challenging the culture and capability of the business and also identify risks and non-compliance and address these issues with ethics and integrity.Responsibilities Include:Develop and implement recruiting and staffing plans to ensure improved selection, diversity, and retention outcomesFacilitate and provide support for performance management and change managementDevelop, recommend, and deploy Human Resources policies and proceduresCounsel and coach supervisors and managers regarding company policies, procedures, and all aspects of employment lawPerform benefit administration and counselingAdminister salary and incentive plansBuild organization capability by providing training and support for employees and managers, including career and professional developmentDevelop and administer effective plans, which drive alignment with Our Bond, and target employee engagement, communication, and recognitionEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment lawsMinimum Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent7 years of Human Resources Management experienceKnowledge of application of employment lawsExperience in leading recruiting and staffing efforts for professional and production positionsDemonstrated understanding and application of compensation practices and experience in salary and incentive plan administrationBackground administering employee health and welfare plans, and the ability to counsel employees relative to benefit issuesPracticed in the application of performance management and career/professional development strategies and processesExperience planning, facilitating, and conducting trainingPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor degree in Business Administration with concentration in Human Resources, Psychology, or related fieldHuman Resources experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience facilitating investigations, grievances, arbitration, and collective bargaining agreement negotiationsAdditional Information The preceding job responsibilities and tasks were designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by associates in this job.
