Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:45 - 07:15 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2+ years License: Required certification/licensure to work as an RN in Tennessee Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Communication Teamwork Flexibility Decision making Patient safety Escalation to physician or APP Description: Candidates may float to other units and must be agreeable to floating to other areas as needed. Providing quality health care for the community for over 60 years. The facility employs a large number of staff and is a fully accredited healthcare institution. The unit has 12 beds with a patient ratio of 6:1. Equipment available includes lifts, sliding boards, and various rehabilitation tools. The patient population ranges from 21 to 90 years of age. Common diagnoses include orthopedic issues, strokes, neurological conditions, cardiac issues, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, and myopathy. The ideal candidate should possess a positive attitude and be willing to support coworkers. Previous experience in rehabilitation and medical-surgical nursing is preferred. Dress code includes scrubs or scrub bottoms with appropriate tops that can be purchased from the facility gift shop. Casual wear and clothing from other facilities are unacceptable.
