Server Assistant / Busser – Sushi Tokoro

Sushi Tokoro is hiring Server Assistants / Bussers for both of our NYC locations:

West Village – 7th Avenue South Midtown / Madison Avenue – 23 E 40th Street

We're looking for friendly, reliable, and hardworking team members to support our servers and sushi chefs and help provide a smooth, welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities

Assist servers throughout service
Greet and assist guests when needed
Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly
Run food, drinks, and other items to tables
Refill water and maintain table settings
Keep the dining room and service areas clean and organized
Help with opening and closing duties
Work closely with servers, hosts, chefs, and management

What We're Looking For

Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Friendly and respectful with guests and coworkers
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant
Dependable and punctual
Team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed
Restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
Japanese restaurant or sushi experience is a plus
