Instrument Fitter

Instrument FitterThe purpose of this role is to perform installations on various types of equipment. You will be fully qualified with an industrial background and have the ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications and blueprints. You will have a strong focus on safety, cost control and customer satisfaction when performing the duties of the position.Principle Responsibilities and Duties:Read and interpret P&ID, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams to perform installation.Lay out, measure and bend tubing based on the specifications of the drawing to fit the design packages insuring a safe and functional system.Able to understand customer's requirements in a short time and present solutions that meet their needs.Measures, cuts, assembles tubing tray and support systems.Installing tubing and clamps into tubing tray systems.Measures, cuts, ream, bends, assemble and install single line and group of tubing.Proficient in the use of tools of the trade.Able to recognize and avoid safety hazards and dangers.All above functions performed with minimal supervision.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED desired.Ability to read and interpret P&ID, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams to perform installation.Ability to lay out, measure and bend tubing based on the specifications of the drawing to fit the design packages insuring a safe and functional system.Must be able to understand customer's requirements in a short time and present solutions that meet their needs.Knowledge of various pneumatic and hydraulics systems.All above functions performed with minimal supervision.Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
