Senior Financial Analyst, Project Finance & Financial Modeling — AI Data Center Campus

Role Description - We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Project Finance & Financial Modeling to support the financial planning, investment analysis, and project economics for a large-scale AI data center campus . This is a hands‑on, mid‑level role for someone with strong financial modeling experience who can build, maintain, and improve complex Excel‑based models. The role will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to analyze development costs, capital needs, financing scenarios, revenue assumptions, power costs, operating expenses, and long‑term project returns. This is not a back‑office finance role. The person will be close to the project, close to leadership, and involved in modeling the financial foundation of a major AI infrastructure campus. The ideal candidate is a strong financial modeler who is ready for high visibility but is still hands‑on in the details. This person should be comfortable working directly with our CEO, who has 40 years building and operating large communications and development companies. The candidate will be updating models quickly, pressure‑testing assumptions, and producing clear analysis that supports major business decisions. The ideal candidate has experience in financial modeling, project finance, infrastructure, real estate development, energy, data centers, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or another capital‑intensive industry. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, mathematics, engineering, or a related quantitative field. 4–7 years of experience in financial modeling, corporate finance, project finance, investment banking, infrastructure finance, real estate finance, private equity, FP&A, or a related field. Strong Excel‑based financial modeling skills are required. Experience building or maintaining multi‑scenario financial models. Ability to analyze cash flows, capital costs, financing assumptions, operating expenses, and project returns. Experience with project finance, infrastructure finance, or capital‑intensive development projects. Familiarity with data center economics, including MW capacity, power costs, utilization, capex per MW, operating costs, lease structures, customer ramp schedules, and development phasing. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex assumptions. Ability to communicate financial analysis clearly to senior executives. Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment. Must be able to work 3–4 days per week onsite in Amenia, NY . Must be located in the Hudson Valley, NY region or willing to relocate within commuting distance. Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance , subject to applicable law, customer requirements, and company security obligations. Active or prior U.S. security clearance is a plus, but not required. Responsibilities Build and maintain detailed financial models for the AI data center campus, including development costs, phasing, capital expenditures, operating expenses, financing assumptions, revenue forecasts, and return metrics. Prepare scenario analyses, sensitivity cases, cash flow forecasts, IRR/NPV analyses, payback models, and capital requirement projections. Work directly with the CEO to update models, test assumptions, and prepare decision‑making materials. Support analysis related to campus development phases, power availability, customer demand, pricing, utilization, construction costs, and financing options. Translate project assumptions from engineering, construction, real estate, energy, and operations teams into clear financial outputs. Assist with investor materials, lender packages, board presentations, and internal financial summaries. Analyze financing alternatives, including debt, equity, project finance, joint venture structures, and other capital sources. Track key value drivers, risks, dependencies, and assumptions across the project. Prepare concise executive summaries and presentations explaining financial model outputs.
