Preconstruction & Business Development Manager

Responsibilities Drive business development and relationship growth by targeting high‑value partners, generating qualified opportunities, attending meetings and site walks, and maintaining a disciplined CRM pipeline Lead estimating and preconstruction efforts, including conceptual through detailed estimates, document reviews, subcontractor pricing, value engineering, proposal development, and bid/no‑bid decisions Serve as a primary preconstruction liaison for architects, designers, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring alignment on design intent, budget, scope, schedule, and evolving project assumptions Support marketing and brand presence by contributing to collateral, case studies, project content, social media ideas, and materials that position the company as a trusted high‑end construction partner Enhance workflows through AI and technology, improving proposal drafts, checklists, CRM updates, documentation, subcontractor outreach, and standardized templates while ensuring human review for accuracy Maintain organized, accountable processes across opportunities, bids, proposals, pricing, design changes, and lessons learned, while representing the company professionally in all market interaction Qualifications Construction background in business development, estimating, preconstruction, project or construction management Proven track record in sales, business development, and relationship management within the construction, wood products, architectural materials, or high‑end residential building markets Ability to interpret technical documents, including drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and bid packages Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, sequencing, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and proposal development Skilled in communication, relationship‑building, sales outreach, site walks, presentations, and professional client interaction Highly organized and detail‑driven, able to manage multiple deadlines and proficient with Microsoft Office and common construction, estimating, CRM, or document‑management tools #J-18808-Ljbffr ClearBridge Executive Search
