Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist Company: Apple Ice Location: Deer Park, NY Job Type: Full-Time Position Summary Apple Ice is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage day-to-day financial transactions. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely payments, and supporting overall cash flow management. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable (A/P) Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices Prepare and execute weekly payment runs (ACH, checks, wires) Maintain vendor files and resolve discrepancies Assist with 1099 preparation and year-end reporting Accounts Receivable (A/R) Generate and distribute customer invoices Apply customer payments (checks, ACH, credit cards) Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing issues Support credit evaluations and maintain customer records General Accounting Support Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations Maintain accurate financial documentation and audit trails Work cross-functionally with operations and sales teams Qualifications A/P and A/R experience Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Online Strong Excel skills High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or food & beverage industries Familiarity with inventory-based accounting Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance #J-18808-Ljbffr Apple Ice
