***Performance Based Compensation***

We are hiring an assistant bookkeeper who is comfortable with QuickBooks(both online and desktop), Wave, and Excel. We are looking for an eager employee(fast learner, willing to learn) who enjoys number and the role of bookkeeping. We will expect you to be able to step in and take bank statements and covert them to financial statements. You will mange 25+ companies per month. It is very important that you are willing to learn, problem solve on your own and work well with others. Being able to handle payroll reports, quarter filings, guide clients in applying for payroll tax id numbers and be able to respond to clients directly. We will offer continuing education yearly and there will be growth opportunities based on your performance.

- Previous experience in accounting and bookkeeping- is a plus

- Strong understanding of financial concepts

- Knowledge of tax accounting principles and practices- is a plus

- Proficiency in account reconciliation techniques- you will be given a test to determine what you know

- Experience working with accounting/bookkeeping software

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze complex financial data

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week- during tax season be willing to work nights and weekends.
