We are seeking a reliable Shipping Clerk in our fiberglass dept. to manage shipping and receiving activities. MUST be able to read blueprints

Fiberglass Shipping Clerk Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $17.00 to $18.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm )

• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against invoices, manifests, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
• Prepare bills of lading, shipping orders, work orders, and other required shipping paperwork.
• Record shipment details, including weights, charges, damages, and discrepancies.
• Package, label, and prepare materials for shipment using hand and power tools as needed.
• Operate a forklift and coordinate with carriers regarding pickups, deliveries, and shipment issues.

Fiberglass Shipping Clerk Qualifications:

• Strong basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing 
• MUST be able to read a tape measure and blueprints
• Ability to maintain accurate records and complete shipping documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, kneel, reach, and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify shipping discrepancies.
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work overtime as needed.
