Dental Office Manager

Location: Morgantown, WV
Job Type: Full-Time

A local dental practice is seeking an experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee daily operations, staff, patient services, billing, insurance, and office administration. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands both the patient-care and business sides of a dental practice.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily office operations, scheduling, patient intake, and records
Hire, train, schedule, and supervise administrative staff
Manage employee performance and disciplinary matters
Oversee billing, collections, insurance claims, A/R and A/P
Handle patient concerns and ensure excellent customer service
Maintain regulatory documentation, office policies, and compliance
Manage supplies, workflows, payroll, and office technology
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and patient experience

Qualifications

Previous dental office management or dental administrative leadership experience
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, insurance, and premedication protocols
Experience with dental billing, insurance claims, and collections
Strong staff leadership and communication skills
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
Experience with dental practice-management software and Microsoft Office
High school diploma required; healthcare/dental administration education is a plus
