Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid and Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years. License: RN license required; WI RN or Compact RN license required. Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC required. Must-Have: Epic experience required. Description: Eve/Night shifts are available in a 12-hour format, typically from 15:00 to 03:30 or 19:00 to 07:30. Weekend and holiday rotation is required. Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to clearance for the position. The facility serves high acuity emergency department patients. More than 60,000 patients receive urgent and emergent care annually. The emergency department is equipped to manage complex conditions, including trauma and cardiac emergencies. The facility operates as a designated Level I Trauma Center and provides specialized treatment across various medical disciplines. The nursing team is supported by an interdisciplinary approach, ensuring knowledge sharing and collaboration. Patient care includes a diverse age group, ranging from neonates to geriatrics. The department emphasizes evidence-based treatment protocols and rapid response to critical situations. Emergency situations handled include drug overdose, traumatic injuries, respiratory emergencies, and mental health crises.
