We are looking for a dynamic Accounts Payable Specialist . This position will work closely with and report directly to the Accounts Payable Manager and VP of Accounting & Finance. This position is a very hands-on position that will play an important role in the accounting and finance process. Responsibilities: Processes weekly check requests, expense reports, and vendor invoices. Processes weekly check runs. Monitors and manages all incoming AP correspondence, including AP inbox. Follows up on past due invoices. Reviews and maintains vendor statements. Follows up with vendors on inquiries and discrepancies. Maintains accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and AP files. Assists in various projects and audits as assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager and VP of Accounting and Finance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist role within a high-volume processing environment, multi-unit restaurant a huge plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and proven ability to organize data efficiently. Ability to multi-task, adhere to tight deadlines and be self-disciplined. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Hours and Work Environment: Full-time, additional hours required during peak and busy seasons. Position will be based 100% in our corporate office in downtown Austin (this is not a remote position).
