Pharmacist in Bellevue, WA

A hospital-based pharmacist opportunity is available for an immediate start in the Bellevue/Seattle area. This contract role offers a 16-week assignment with the possibility of transition to permanent employment. The position features a night shift schedule that provides a balance of work and personal time.


Schedule:

• 7 consecutive nights on shift (approximately 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• 7 consecutive days off

Responsibilities include supporting inpatient pharmacy distribution processes such as:

• Verifying medication orders using Epic
• Performing final product verification checks to ensure accuracy and safety
• Responding to clinical inquiries and providing drug information
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to facilitate workflow efficiency
• Participating in Code Blue and emergency response activities as needed
• Utilizing Pyxis for medication dispensing and inventory management

The ideal candidate will hold an active Washington State pharmacist license and bring experience in a hospital setting. Proficiency with electronic health record systems (Epic) and automated dispensing cabinets (Pyxis) is essential. Immediate full-time availability is required to meet patient care demands.
