Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist

• Operate MRI equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
• Interpret physician instructions and ensure safe and appropriate imaging procedures.
• Conduct patient interviews to obtain medical information and history.
• Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment as necessary.
• Float between LHMC and Peabody locations as needed.

Requirements of the MRI Technologist

• ARRT certification in MRI (MR)
• BLS certification
• At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
• Separation from BILH for 6+ months
• Philips MRI equipment experience preferred but not required
