How you'll make an impact in this role

• Deliver Compassionate, High-Quality Care: Provide expert, direct nursing care to mothers and newborns along Chicago's lakefront, safely implementing individualized care plans and precisely executing clinical orders in alignment with our trusted hospital protocols.
• Champion the Patient Experience: Serve as the central heartbeat of the labor and delivery room, continuously monitoring and recording patient conditions while keeping families informed and comforted through every stage of childbirth.
• Coordinate Seamless Care & Transitions: Collaborate effortlessly across medical disciplines to lead a well-coordinated care plan, proactively managing everything from active labor support to comprehensive discharge planning for a safe return home.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• RN with 1-2 yrs of L&D experience.
