Senior Accountant Location: New York, NY, US Experience: Senior Level Salary: $115,000 - $125,000 per year Job Details This is not a traditional month‑end close accounting role. As a Senior Accountant, you will own a portfolio of approximately six real‑estate assets and serve as a key business partner to asset management and operational teams. You'll gain exposure to development, investments, joint ventures, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio analytics. Responsibilities Manage accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of real‑estate assets Review and oversee financial statements prepared by third‑party property managers Analyze and validate joint venture partner reporting Prepare consolidated GAAP financial reporting packages Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Partner with Asset Management teams to analyze property performance and operating results Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules Support external audits and compliance requirements Identify process improvements and contribute to operational efficiencies A bit about us We are a well‑capitalized real‑estate investment and development firm with a long‑standing presence in the U.S. market.
