Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
The Assembler plays a key role in building plumbing products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will use hand and power tools to assemble components, inspect parts for quality, and work closely with a team to meet daily production goals. This position offers a hands-on role with long-term stability, opportunities for permanent hire, and clear paths for advancement within a supportive and collaborative culture.
Responsibilities
You will join a stable manufacturing organization with a strong track record of long-term employee retention and career growth. The company actively converts contractors into permanent employees, offers internal promotions, and provides a competitive benefits package once you become direct. Employees enjoy a friendly, team-oriented culture, regular company events and cookouts, and a supportive environment where collaboration and mutual support are highly valued. The organization offers job security, including pay during weather-related shutdowns, and practical conveniences such as a large cafeteria, free coffee, and on-site amenities that make each workday more comfortable.
Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing facility that is not temperature controlled, so temperatures will vary with the seasons. Employees work in a machine shop environment that includes both automated and manual equipment. Assemblers may be assigned to a production assembly line or to individual workbench stations, depending on production needs. To keep work engaging and reduce repetitive strain, employees typically rotate between different stations approximately every hour throughout the shift. The culture is team-oriented and welcoming, with employees working closely together, supporting one another, and maintaining production goals as a group. Site observations show an engaged, collaborative, and positive workforce that creates a close-knit environment for new team members. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, performing repetitive motions, and lifting up to 35 pounds. The facility includes a large, clean cafeteria, free coffee, refrigerators for employee lunches, and vending machines for additional convenience. Company-provided personal protective equipment is supplied for all required tasks.
