Title
Neuro ICU Nurse - Neuro Critical Care

Schedule
12-hour nights, 18:45-07:15
Weekend requirement: every other weekend

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Neuro ICU experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (BCLS), NIHSS
- Experience with EVDs, lumbar drains, ICP monitoring, and central line care
- Travel experience required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care for neurocritical patients with conditions such as ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, seizures, and traumatic brain injuries.
- Monitor and manage neurological assessments and critical care interventions.
- Administer medications and manage continuous IV sedation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Perform and manage neurological procedures and interventions as required.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and isolation precautions.

Compliance / Notes
- Initial time-off requests after booking are not allowed and must be pre-approved.
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays.
- Orientation: 24 hours (2 days or 2 nights).
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required; Flu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions allowed).
