Speech Language Pathologist

Step into a fulfilling role supporting students across a diverse K-12 population as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity spans from August 2026 through June 2027, providing services throughout multiple school sites in a districtwide capacity. Key Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) State licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology in Connecticut Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams Commitment to in-person services (remote candidates will not be considered) Role Responsibilities: Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to a diverse K-12 caseload across several schools Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments, interpret results, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation as required by district and state guidelines Engage in ongoing professional development and district initiatives This full-time position, with approximately 35-37.5 hours per week, offers the opportunity to truly impact the lives of students throughout the district for the school year. Compensation for this position ranges from $45.92 to $65.92. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
