We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our OB/GYN team. In this role, you will provide direct, in-office clinical support during patient visits, ensuring high-quality patient care and assisting our providers with daily clinical operations.

*MUST be certified

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Rooming & Intake: Greet patients, obtain vital signs, record medical histories, and document chief complaints in the EHR.

• Procedure Support: Assist providers during in-office gynecological procedures (e.g., biopsies, IUD insertions, colposcopies).

• Injections & Lab Work: Administer routine vaccinations, perform blood draws/phlebotomy, and prepare lab specimens as directed.

• Patient Preparation & Chaperoning: Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, chaperon exams, and ensure rooms are stocked and sanitized between visits.

• EHR Documentation: Maintain accurate, real-time electronic health record (EHR) documentation for all patient interactions and clinical tasks.

• Prescription & Lab Coordination: Process prescription renewal requests and communicate laboratory/pathology results to patients as directed by providers.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, mid-level providers, and administrative staff to maintain smooth clinical workflow and optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA / RMA) or equivalent clinical experience (OB/GYN experience preferred).

• Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., AthenaHealth).

• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

• High level of attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
