About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate required, AWHONN Advanced preferred Must-Have: Must be able to circulate Must be able to perform sterile vaginal exams Experience in large hospital settings is highly preferred Description: Labor and Delivery RN position available. No first-time travelers accepted. Candidates with less than 2 years of experience will not be considered. All required skills and certifications must be held. Candidates must be able to circulate in the operating room. Candidates must have experience performing sterile vaginal exams. High-risk unit experience is preferred. Weekends may exceed every other to accommodate unit needs. Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered. Travel pairs will not be considered. Local radius is limited to 50 miles. Facility has the ability to call off once per pay period. The facility is an acute care hospital with a total of 426 staffed beds. Scrub color for RNs is navy blue and is provided. Charting system utilized is Epic. Monthly cell phone use may be reimbursed as necessary. All travelers are expected to float between facilities as needed. Travelers refusing to float may risk termination of assignment. References will be required covering experience within the last 3 years. Candidates with open license hits will not be approved. A fire card within the last 30 days is required. Candidates are expected to commit to working three of the five major holidays.
