SENIOR ACQUISITION SPECIALIST: THE BASICS

You will have a consistent, full-time schedule, working either 8 am – 5 pm or 9 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday . Enjoy the stability of regular weekday hours while supporting important initiatives. With a competitive salary range of $131,000 to $146,000/year , this is your chance to bring your expertise to a mission-driven organization that values high-level performance and professional growth.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

As a Senior Acquisition Specialist, you will spend your days navigating the complexities of federal procurement. You will lead acquisition planning tasks, prepare solicitation documents, and conduct detailed market research and analysis. Your expertise will guide the preparation of contract awards and modifications. You will also assist in the development and review of procurement package documents, ensuring that every step of the acquisition process is handled with precision and compliance. Every day, you will draw on your extensive experience to support critical projects and make a direct impact on organizational success.

Here's what you need:

• 10+ years of experience in federal acquisitions
• Experience as a warranted Contracting Officer for any federal agency
• Extensive knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
• Former 1102 series federal employee at the GS-14 level (preferred)
