Team Assembler

Join our team as a Production Equipment Operator, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of production equipment. You will be responsible for verifying control settings, monitoring machine operations, and assembling product structures according to manufacturing specifications.

• Verify control settings on production equipment and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions, reporting any issues promptly.
• Align and position materials in accordance with manufacturing specifications to ensure quality production.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient operations.
• Assemble product structures in the prescribed sequence, following directions accurately.
• Interpret and work according to fabrication procedures and specifications.
• Learn and adapt to flexible structure drawings and Aerostat materials used in fabrication, such as laminates, tapes, and fabrics.
• Utilize computers and computer systems for data entry, access, and retrieval.

• Proficiency in laying out, cutting, applying adhesives, and using hand and power tools.
• Ability to measure accurately and read computer systems, tapes, fabrics, and drawings.
• Capability to assemble parts based on measurements, work instructions, diagrams, and prints.

• Competency in reading and working with fractions.
• Ability to use a computer effectively.
• Capability to stand for the entire shift.
• Prior experience in assembling items from diagrams or instructions, such as a bookcase or car stereo.
• Experience operating large cutting and sewing machines is ideal.

This is a Contract position based out of ELIZABETH CITY, NC.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
