Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Site Patrol in Hollis NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government transportation location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this role you will support daily operations with agility reliability and innovation while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout platforms stations public areas access points and/or perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas verify authorized access when required and communicate clearly with employees visitors passengers and/or first responders during routine and elevated activity.
• Support order at the location by following post orders observing for policy violations assisting with crowd and pedestrian flow and reporting maintenance hazard and/or security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
