Production Supervisor - Nights

Location: Arlington, TX
Shift: Night Shift
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing production teams
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement principles
• Ability to analyze production issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in packaging, converting, printing, or related manufacturing environments
• Experience with performance management, employee development, and talent selection

Position Summary

Pregis is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and develop a manufacturing team while ensuring safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives are achieved. This role is responsible for supervising daily production operations, driving continuous improvement, and building a culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who can effectively manage production activities, develop employees, solve problems, and support business goals through safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production employees on assigned shift
• Communicate expectations and monitor daily production performance
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor utilization to meet production goals
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity standards are achieved
• Train, coach, and develop team members on equipment, processes, and procedures
• Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee development activities
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues and implement corrective actions
• Analyze production performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Maintain accurate production, quality, safety, and staffing documentation
• Prepare and communicate daily performance reports
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, stooping, and squatting
• Occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds
• Frequent computer use and documentation activities

Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment with moving equipment
• Indoor facility
• Temperatures may exceed 90°F
• Humidity levels may exceed 80%
• Noise levels may exceed 85 dB
