They work under the direction of the Staff Pharmacist to provide excellent service.SPECIFIC JOB DUTIESPrepare, deliver, and restock medicationsPerform order entryProcure drugsBill prescriptionsAssist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacistCarry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.Other duties as assignedPOSITION REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GEDCurrent CPR certificationLicensed or Certified Pharmacy TechnicianRecent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacyExperience working with 340B preferredProficient computer skillsEffective communications skills; verbal and writtenEnglish proficiency requiredBilingual English/Spanish preferredESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSIn order to fulfill the requirements of this position, duties 1-7 are considered essential functions of the job.ORGANIZATIONAL INVOLVEMENTThis position is required to participate in mandatory all staff meetings, team meetings and trainings. #J-18808-Ljbffr Union Community Care
