Human Resources Manager

Onsite Human Resources Manager role in Klamath, CA supporting an agriculture organization, with responsibility for day-to-day HR operations and compliance. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day HR operations and supervise HR staff. Manage recruiting , onboarding , employee relations , performance management , training , development , and offboarding . Advise managers and employees on HR policies , workplace issues, and employment practices. Ensure compliance with federal and California employment laws and Cal/OSHA requirements. Oversee payroll , benefits , leave management , HRIS , employee records, and compensation programs. Manage workers' compensation and return-to-work programs. Lead workplace investigations , safety initiatives , and employee training. Develop and improve HR policies , procedures, and systems. Support employee engagement , retention , communication, and organizational effectiveness. Requirements 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in HR leadership. Experience supporting a large workforce or multi-site organization. Strong knowledge of employee relations , employment law , recruiting , compensation , benefits , and performance management . Hands-on experience with payroll and HRIS . Experience with OSHA/Cal-OSHA , workers' compensation , and workplace safety . Agriculture, food manufacturing, production, or similar industry experience preferred . English/Spanish bilingual skills highly preferred (Spanish preferred). Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred . SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR , SPHR-CA , or similar certification preferred . Strong communication , leadership , problem-solving , and organizational skills.
