Job Summary

The Warehouse Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and organize products within a warehouse or distribution center. This role helps ensure efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers safely
• Transport products to storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks
• Stack, organize, and store materials in designated locations
• Inspect and maintain equipment before use and report any issues
• Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company procedures
• Assist with inventory tasks such as counting, labeling, and tracking materials
• Keep work areas clean and organized to maintain a safe environment

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year forklift experience (for most roles)
• Ability to safely operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
• Basic math and reading skills for inventory tracking
• Forklift certification (preferred or required depending on employer)

Working Conditions
