Bilingual Therapies is actively seeking a dedicated High School Special Education Teacher for a full-time, school-based position. This is a great opportunity to support students through both inclusion and resource settings, with strong case management support.
Position Details:
• Position: High School Special Education Teacher
• Schedule: Full-time
• Grade Level: High School
• Caseload: Approximately 15 students
• Class Schedule: 3 inclusion classes + 2 resource classes
• Prep Time: 2 prep periods
• Position Type: School-Based Contract
Responsibilities:
• Teach inclusion and resource classes
• Develop and manage IEPs and required documentation
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff
• Work alongside a Special Education Case Manager for compliance support
Qualifications:
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Appropriate Special Education endorsements required
• Previous school-based experience preferred
