Manager, Software Asset Management

Responsibilities Lead and manage complex software contract negotiations with vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions Collaborate with legal, finance, and procurement teams to review and finalize software contracts Oversee the end-to-end software procurement process, including vendor selection, RFPs, and contract execution Develop and implement software asset management policies, procedures, and best practices Conduct regular audits to verify software usage and identify potential risks or discrepancies Manage relationships with software vendors, ensuring high levels of service and support Generate and analyze reports on software usage, costs, and compliance Partner with IT, Finance, Procurement, and Legal teams to co-create software management strategies Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum of 7 years of experience in software asset management, procurement, or contract negotiations Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful contract negotiations In-depth knowledge of software licensing models and compliance requirements Excellent analytical and communication skills (both verbal and written) Proficiency in software asset management tools and systems (SNOW, Flexera, Zylo preferred) Relevant certifications (e.g., CSAM, ITIL) are a plus Familiarity with the lifecycle and expectations of vendor audits and remediations #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
