Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to PCU patients with accurate documentation.

• Monitor patient status and respond to changes per unit protocols.

• Ensure accurate medication administration and reconciliation.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans.

• Document all patient interactions and outcomes in electronic medical records.

• Adhere to unit standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in performance metrics, deliver quality outcomes, and support pipeline goals.

• Demonstrate continuous learning by completing required certifications and skills refreshers.

• Assist in patient and family education to support discharge planning.

• Maintain on-site presence with reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Support staffing needs by flexible scheduling and covering shifts as needed.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current RN license for Arizona and valid AHA BLS certification.

• PCU or med-surg experience with direct patient care and documentation.

• Proficiency with electronic medical records and accurate charting.

• Medication administration and reconciliation within unit protocols.

• Strong collaboration with interdisciplinary team for care planning.

• Ability to respond to patient status changes per unit protocols.

• Flexibility to cover shifts and support staffing needs in a part-time role.

• Commitment to on-site presence, punctuality, and reliability.

• Participation in performance metrics and quality outcome initiatives.

• Willingness to pursue ongoing certifications and skills refreshers.
